Yes, I’m talking about the current state of Etsy.

A marketplace where creative people sold handmade products. Artists, crafters, and small business owners could share their unique creations with the world.

This was Etsy.

The internet’s original handmade heaven.

But today, we all are witnessing something strange.

Etsy is starting to look more like TEMU, or Aliexpress, platforms made for selling mass-produced items.

The Dream That Started It All

Back in 2005, three friends in Brooklyn had a brilliant idea.

They wanted to create a special online space where creative people could sell their handmade goods.
