SMALL STREAMS THEORY:

Why a “Small” Stream? What gives? What’s up with that, A.G.? It is because it is the smallest model I could think of that could let me derive almost absolutely everything I know and have ever learned, and that could be the source, or used as the source for all solutions to all problems, at least all previously found solutions and to solvable problems of course. In that sense it is like a Key but also an Index, Table of Contents, and other information navigational aid. A Compass.

The Small Stream is very simple. It can be drawn as a line with two endpoints, or two nodes/vertices connected by an edge, the edge/line representing the small stream, and the two endpoints representing the various positions, either Upstream or Downstream. The rest is Calculus and Anticalculus.

A — — — — — — B

Therefore, there is 1 Stream and two Positions (Players), A and B for the Players and let’s say x and y for the Positions, Upstream vs. Downstream. Then there is a Reality, the ACTUAL POSITIONS of the Players. Any 2 players can only truly be either Downstream or Upstream. Also, two Players with respect to one another can only either both be Upstream players, or else both be Downstream players, or else only 1 Upstream + 1 Downstream player. The problem is, Reality can get mixed up and any given player, regardless of his or her Position on the Small Stream, can mistake their own, and/or the other player’s positions. Call these metaphysical positions True and False, or what have you, Reality vs. Unreality, etc.

In the game of small streams, the only reality that matters is who is truly Upstream, positioned at the top of the mountain closest to the Source of the Stream. The dominant position is being at the top AND having a true picture of reality, at least for ANY Downstream Calculus strategies, being Upstream and knowing it is universally dominant. However, you are not impervious to forgetting and acting as though you were really Downstream, which is what the Downstream Calculus Play is designed to do. It only works if you fall for it. The only real power is always in the hands of the Upstream players, universally actually even when things are reversed and they fall prey to dictatorial regimes or whatnot. What happens is that Upstream players tend to use a different Calculus, the Anticalculus. If they are aware it exists and know how to use it, they are universally, categorically UNBEATABLE, not even by other Upstream players using the same and only existing Small Stream Anticalculus.

This is Small Streams Theory.
