- Seek inspiration from everyday interaction that is behave in real life.
- Disrupt the normal flow( for ex.-using the mouth to hold things, hooking an umbrella on an arm).
- Document behavior and flows on action( for ex.-camera and notebook to observe a variety of related situation in natural setting).
- Seek out extreme situations( for ex.-pursue experience beyond what you know or live in everyday , In order to sale a new).
- Invite curiosity(for ex.- how thoughtless is this behavior? what motivates this?).
- Reveal what is intuitive(spontaneous reaction) for ex.-pulling a door to open it instead of pushing it, walking in step with others.
- uncover the emotional experience (connect to feeling to determine responses) for ex.- the ways people stand in the lines or create personal space on park benches.
- tune into cultural patterns(find meaning and theme) for ex.-the way people conform in an elevators, convey messages.
- tap resources( for ex.-input from clients, experts and the experiences).
- seek flexible and enduring solutions( for ex.- sometimes simple is best).
