The second stage of unlearning at The Design Village was from the third week of commencement which lasted for another 3 weeks.

It started with a week long IMA(Image:Medium:Action) workshop with Mr. Siddhartha Singh- Senior Architect, Archohm and his team. The workshop focused on one’s memories, from the oldest memory students had of their own to the newest or most special memory yet and then to appropriate other’s memory in our own way.

The students were divided into groups mentored by Mr. Siddhartha’s team individually. Each team designed a story on the basis of their team member’s individual memory. These designed stories were enacted by each team.

Going forward, an activity named Twilight was conducted for the students to visualize their memory on a monochromatic canvas and another activity named Mapping which was about one’s memories of their neighbourhood highlighting their own house.

Moving ahead with the workshop, students brought excerpt inspired from the works of some famous artists in the world and visualize the feeling of reading about them.

In the next days of workshop the students carved a memory house on a 6x6 thermocol block keeping Archeology as the base of the activity.

The workshop came to an end with a theatrical presentation of designed stories along with combined canvas of the individual teams.

The fourth week emphasized on the forth coming trip to Auroville-Pondicherry and some other interesting activities. As part of product design activity students designed products of their choice and made its prototype.

The final week of unlearning process was an adventurous memorable week long trip to Auroville and Pondicherry. The trip started with fun filled activities. Once the students reached their destination place following activities were conducted through out the week,
