Design Terminal’s mentor program has just started it’s second semester in 2016. The lucky teams we’re mentoring in DesignLab are incredibly talented, enthusiastic and adventurous. During the 4-month-long program they will profit from cross track courses and peer-to-peer learning as well, in collaboration with TechLab and CityLab teams.

KUVIK

Kuvik is an educational kit that redefines the already existing boundaries and teaches children the basics of reading and mathematics in a creative way.

Judit Török graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design where she has already started working on the tenets of Kuvik in 2014. Judit’s mission is to revolutionise the Hungarian and international elementary education.

Currently, she has a portfolio of five products. Judit is an ambitious and visionary entrepreneur.

Sneaker Tracker

Are you a fan of sneakers? If yes, this app is made for you. The shoe tracker application, that is combined with a pedometer, is based on three keystones: Collection, Community and Loyalty. The members of the community can share information about themselves and their shoes in real time.

From a business perspective, it is a promising initiative: they have closed several B2B deals quickly (Nike, BP Shop, Adidas). Currently they are building their user community.

The team is going to profit from DesignLab and TechLab mentors’ knowledge simultaneously.

Celeni

Celeni was established in 2012 by the founder who is responsible for labelling the brand as well. They design clothing and accessories (bags, jewellery) to determined, intellectual women.

Their main success to date is winning the right to design the uniform of the Paralympic team of Hungary in 2016. The program is going to help the brand enter the international markets and acquire business competences necessary for growth.
