I went to an exhibition at the Pompidou Center in Paris last month, and one of the statues made me think deeply. This is an artwork for an exhibition about environmental protection. Shown in the photo is a dinosaur statue made from various discarded materials, including discarded toys, tools, and paint.

I chose this photo to reflect on because it shows the strong connection between art and environmental conservation. Using discarded materials to create dinosaur statues not only demonstrates the recycling of items but also their ability to regenerate. This photo made me think about how to communicate the importance of carbon recovery and recyclable materials through art.

The dinosaur statues in the photo are made from a variety of discarded materials that had different uses and meanings in the past. Now, they have been recombined and given new life to form a meaningful work of art. This method of creation not only demonstrates the creativity of the artist but also conveys an important message about resource reuse and environmental protection.

During the course, we delved into the importance of carbon recovery and recyclable materials. This photo ties in closely with the theme of the course as it shows how reusing discarded materials can reduce carbon emissions and support a sustainable lifestyle. As a work of art, the dinosaur statue not only expresses creativity but also emphasizes the reuse of resources and environmental protection, perfectly integrating with the concepts explored in our courses.
