The clapper board is an essential prop in film and television production. A whiteboard that can type sound provides much convenience for film and television operations. The textual information on the clapper board provides the necessary information about the current video for post-editing, such as shots or takes. The part above where you can hit the crisp sound is to help sync the picture to the sound more easily in editing. The colored stripes on the clapper board are to facilitate a good match of the picture's colors in different scenes in the past when there was no such efficient color mixing software.

In a small short film, the clapper board may be used in production people’s favor, but when faced with thousands of shots, the absence of a clapper board can make editing mission impossible.

I wanted to discuss the clapper board because this little thing represents so well an invention in the service of humans, and it comes from a field that interests me. It has served countless film and television practitioners by concentrating many practical and necessary functions on such a small board. This creative product was created for a creative industry, and how is this not an expression of creativity?
