This Exercise is an exploration of the perceived language of objects that communicate with us to elicit interaction. I began the project with a deer antler that was given to me as found material. I was then tasked with shaping and painting the antler in a way that would compel someone to pick it up and explore it with their hands.

In my initial studies of the antler I began to understand the veining of the antler.
