Reflection 3
Considering my past experiences with coding, I feel like this A2 assignment really pushed me to work on coding quite exhaustingly, and understand the logic behind coding .It took me a lot of time, but I finally started to learn my way around it, as Venkat suggested in class, coding is not something you can learn in a week or a month , it takes years of practice to become a good coder , the pace at which I’m going may be a little slow , but I’m interested to go further with it .
This weeks practice in class made me realize how making your own code is so important, and instead of creating the same binary conversations, I should try making non binary conversations, increasing my understanding of how it works, which is what I tried to do for our A2.
Our aim was to make a conversational agent where you could ask practically anything, even though that sounds impossible and can only be achieved by Ai, for our second assignment I feel like we were off to a good start.
The introduction to different types of AI in the clips we saw In class was interesting, and how it suggested that AI could be threatening to humanity after it outsmarts us, in a way these sci-fi movies are a sort of advanced wizard of OZ for the future, which is interesting.
In conclusion I feel like this class has provided us with one skill set, that is to code but along with that, in a way it helped me adapt to an alternate way to think which I feel would be beneficial for me in the future, a very logical approach, that helps in making it easier to solve problems.
