For me Starting with coding without having any prior experience that was a big task. Somehow I was nervous about it. But as a future UI/UX designer, coding always helps a lot to create so many different artistic things. But when we started actually using Cygwin, it was a completely new display, as we started practising, it was very exciting and easy to understand. It helped a lot to understand the commands and how coding actually works. Got a new understanding about the science behind happening to many creative things. I think giving the touch of code to your own design is the ultimate combination.
It was very remarkable that the things which we are using now in our day to day life as a new generations invitation but the root of those creative things were there in 1800–1900. E.g. Eliza, Sketchpad.
I think, in a UX context, knowing programming gives you the leverage of being able to coordinate and another reason to learn programming is that
it makes UX leadership a lot easier because you are able to talk multiple languages and coordinate better without having a managerial entity.
According to my opinion, I conceptualize programming as a set of ingredients, and a set of instructions about how to work with those ingredients to achieve a certain goal.
It was fun to start to code.
