Designing for Asthma

After our presentation to our client, we realized that we had too many ideas and that our ideas were too broad. We wanted to scope down and decide on a more concrete idea before we moved on to designing service experiments.

We summarized some new interviews we did and started to write down key ideas on post its. We organized them by topic, themes, and locations, and then each came up with several design ideas that tied back to our original three service propositions.

We asked some questions to help define our service.

Finally, we landed on two more polished ideas. One of them was a penpal service that connects children with asthma through physical letters supplemented by stationary and stickers. Another was to have a diary or a workbook that allowed children to write or draw out their feelings about asthma on a day to day basis.
