Course on Designing the Future of Work: Public Interest Technology Development

We use gig work platforms to deliver our goods and services to our doorsteps, from food delivery to transportation. However, these platforms are rarely designed in the public interest. In this class, students studied, designed, and develop novel public-interest technologies that reimagine the future of gig work.
