Designing is the creative thing which can give the good or bad user experience and decide the success of any product. And,

Design is a process which has a user’s perspective and Design is about to create a solution to a user’s problem.

Design of Digital Products

3.3 million products are there on google play store which was only 1 million in the year 2013.

2 million products are there in apple’s play store.

To make these products more successful, there is an important role of designers and Design Practice aims to create a bridge between tech companies and designers to build solid products.

By the job feature in Design Practice, Mainly our aim is to connect Indian designers and tech companies. Tech companies from any place in India can post their job on Design Practice and designers can connect with that company for the better future for designers and company.

Before moving to the Design Practice, Let’s understand Design and importance.

Why Design is important?

Design is not only how it looks like but it’s a process which gives a good or bad feel to users. And the important thing is designers are designing a product for user experience. For the success of any digital or non-digital product, there is an important role of a designer who knows a user’s needs, psychology and how to solve problems.

Now, let’s take a look again on Design Practice Jobs.

Design Practice Jobs for Designer

To create job feature for designers we have performed a few steps after evaluated this idea. We developed information architecture to get a proper idea of all the component of the feature with the content of that component and how all the component mapped with each other.

And after creating information architecture and design of the page we developed job feature.

Is this feature minimum viable or not?

Before launching any feature or product it’s important to check that, is it really helping the users or not?

And we also want to check the job feature is helping our users or not. and for that, We placed job feature in the footer of the app and we did digital marketing.

In the first 15 days, we have posted total 40 jobs and these jobs had been viewed by 33.91% visitors on Design Practice.

By getting this response, We have decided to release job features for all the designers and companies and we want to check more data to decide whether we got to succeed or not? And for this, we used google analytics and hotjar to check the data.

Analytics of Jobs on Design Practice

After the release of the first version of job feature on Design Practice, We have found some interesting data,

  • 25.73% visitors of Design Practice have viewed jobs on Design Practice.
  • 5.60% visitors from Bengaluru, India has viewed jobs on Design Practice.
  • Job by the Microsoft, Bengaluru is the highest viewed job, which is viewed by 2.62% designers of Design Practice.
  • 18.36% visitors who have viewed jobs on Design Practice are aged between 25–34

Learning on Job Feature

  • We got an idea about the seniority level of visitors who are looking for jobs.
  • Using the hotjar analysis we identified how much time our visitors spent on job details. By this, we will add or remove content on job pages.
  • We need to focus more on to get more jobs from HR.
  • Visitors are most likely to check jobs posted by MNC or big brands.

Thanks for the reading. Still, we are in the beginning phase for this feature, right now, we can’t predict about success or failure but We will surely improve this feature to help designers and companies.
