So what happens if that person gets drunk after spending some time drinking in the bar, and has his/her car parked nearby? He/she wants to drive home, right? But he/she can’t do that due to safety concerns, and what should he/she do? He/she should have a mobile app, like Uber and Lyft, that calls a substitute driver that doesn’t consume alcohol or drugs for the upcoming trip, and this substitute driver will send the person from the origin to destination with that person’s own car. The concept of substitute driver for alcohol or drug reasons is very interesting and can be implemented, since we all expect that we’d ensure the safety of our road trips. In fact, another interesting aspect is that substitute driver works if that person is seeking medical help and can’t personally arrive to the clinic/hospital as their existing conditions may limit their abilities to drive. In summary, Uber/Lyft functions like taxi service, but substitute driver is similar to taxi service, but has the right to drive the owner’s car under certain conditions.
