Zomato is an Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company like Uber Eats, Doordash in the US. I find their social media posts creative. When it comes to engaging with its customers on social media, it knows what clicks the audience. It taps into current topics that are trending and transforms them into quick one-liners or images that connect two elements and display them in their posts: Customers’ emotions or sentiments regarding the events and Zomato’s business. In today’s world of memes, Zomato knows how to get the short attention span of the customers. The posts are intriguing, humorous and modest artwork informs you with the service they need to advertise about the viral issue on the internet/news.

They capitalize on every significant event happening, whether it is elections, independence day celebrations, movie/series releases, iconic dialogues from Bollywood songs or movies, etc. Recently 15th August 2021 marked India’s 74 years of independence. This single line is creative and powerful that it makes a consumer read and re-read. Their posts are so relatable to a common man that it automatically attracts customers to their platform. With so many brands today in the food delivery industry where other brands fail is the constant interaction with the audience that Zomato creates through its quirky sense of humor portrayed in creative posts.
