Continuing on to our favorite BDSM toys when whips, chains, and pain aren’t your thing! There is this assumption that kink has to be seriously, and that any sort of laughter or giggling means you’re not doing kink right. WRONGGGGG.

Kink for you can be whatever it is, which is why I’m so excited to right this two part listicle of sorts, because it really throws kink on its side, changing your perception as to what is considered appropriately kinky or not.

Remember, being kinky is about exploring and embracing your sexuality, sensuality, and relationships in a way that goes against the grain of what society expects. So, what does society expect when it comes to the items below that we’re going to list out? Probably how to use them non-sexually and in a really functional way. So, how can you get creative and push your boundaries of what ifs and shoulds with the follow items?

Vibrators

We’re just going to cut to the chase: every person, kinkster or not, should have a Magic Wand in their sexy time toy collection. This isn’t just for women, as men feel extreme pleasure using it, too. The sensations are, dare we say it, orgasmic. It’s also amazing for sore and tense muscles. Do us a favor and don’t waste your money on other powerful vibrators, unless it’s the cordless Smart Wand by LELO. It’s a bit pricier, but just as amazing. If you’re looking for something smaller and more discreet, the MIA 2 by LELO looks like a lipstick tube. It’s also USB-rechargable.

Pillowcases

Did you know that pillowcases are one of the more overlooked kink-friendly toys that everyone has? Blindfolds, bondage, make-shift towels, you name it…and it’s super easy to wash. Here’s a tip on us: slip both your arms into the pillowcase while your hands are behind your back. Lay down on your back on top of the pillowcase, voila! Your arms are now completely immobile due to your bodyweight. Tell your partner, “You’re welcome” from us. Actually, you’re welcome to you, too.

Nail polish/non-toxic watercolor paints

Like we said before, BDSM doesn’t have to be serious, hardcore, whips, chains, and pain. Don’t forget the humorous and laughter portion, where you have fun and play games. Use the nail polish or paint to draw, play tic-tac-toe, decorate, create targets for your squirt guns (below). Be sensual, use the brushes to tickle, and most importantly let loose, go with the ow, and have fun. Easily wash o your play in the shower.

Squirt guns

You read right: squirt guns! You can go all out with super soakers, or something smaller and less messy from the Dollar Tree. Use squirt guns as an introduction to impact play.

Plastic beaded necklaces

Think plastic pearl necklaces or those Mardi Gras necklaces. They’re easy to clean because they’re plastic, and the beads provide extra sensation to your body. Running it over you or your partner’s nether bits won’t be met with much resistance.

So, that’s it! Go forth, have fun, and get your kink on. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks on how to get started with kink, download the Kink Quickstart Guide here.
