Concept Pitch

Directed to our peers, we aim to raise awareness of the issue of conforming to societal expectations, and to question if this should be our way of life. We are made to suppress our inner desires, passions, and even our individuality.

The constructed images parallel our constructed reality as defined and refined by society over the years from birth, and shows the possible consequences of the choices made in life.

These images are meant to be viewed in sequence:

From birth out paths are set;
Stereotyped by gender,
And our passions dashed.
Reality holds us back,
Society takes our identity.
We hide to fit in;
Until we grow old.
So who wins?
