What’s around your space in Edgewater?
Colvin House is perfectly situated across the street from Lane Beach, a few blocks away from the Thorndale Red Line El stop, and steps away from a 147/151 bus line stop.

Edgewater has a plethora of good restaurants around Colvin House and a diverse community of businesses and people.
What got you into coworking?
We wanted to develop shared, functional space that fosters collaboration across industries.
Do you offer any unique services to cowokers?
We have a support team that can be hired by the hour to help members complete projects all of sizes. This can be any task from building a website or social media presence over the course of a few months to addressing invitations and stuffing party favors in an afternoon.
We increase member productivity by making ourselves available to them directly. This strengthens their relationship with our staff and gives us a vested interest in the success of their individual businesses.
Can you give an example of collaboration that happened at your space?
A number of members of our space are also members of Women Belong, an organization that connects and supports women in business from all types of professions. Those connections allowed people from different circles to meet and co-host events.

This led Creative Coworking to partner with Women Belong for our monthly networking event, Seeds for Growth. This series invites a speaker every month to present on a variety of topics that aim to education, inspire and motivate business leaders and community members.
What’s the best part about getting new coworkers from Deskpass?
For us, it’s great to see how those working relationships evolve from a Deskpass user visiting Creative Coworking for the first time to becoming a regular face in the space.
