Reset is a coworking company that utilizes restaurant space when it’s not in use, making sure that the community gets the most out of the spaces it already has! We love this idea that Austin, TX is gathering at these hubs to work, talk, and collaborate. Read more about their Tillery below!

If someone closed their eyes, what would they hear in your space?
If someone closed their eyes in our space, they would hear the ambient sounds of nature right outside alongside some of our favorite workspace mixes. Our Tillery location has a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the Colorado River, so members can sit inside with floor to ceiling windows or outside on some of the wifi-equipped patio tables. The space is a favorite for natural light aficionados and even bird watchers! Our members can sometimes hear the chirps of some of the wildlife outside, which makes for a nice working environment. You won’t find any of the normal office noise here. During the afternoon, some of our members indulge in happy hour and you’ll hear the clink of drinks being mixed behind the bar.

What do people first notice when they walk in?
The first thing people notice when they walk in is the floor to ceiling windows, as well as the airy and modern interior. The windows overlook gorgeous Colorado River views, and there’s so much natural light inside that everyone gets a window seat.

Do you offer any unique services (ex: dry cleaning drop-off)?
Since we operate inside restaurants during hours they are not open, we offer beverage & cocktail service every day and snacks on order. Our baristas are trained by the restaurant, so they can serve up the entire menu during normal happy hour (3–5pm) or whenever you may need a drink. Most of our members were previously working remotely at home or in coffee shops, so this is a great way to socialize or invite some of their friends for a work session and happy hour on a Friday. For snacks, our members can sample some of the restaurant’s dishes during their work hours making sure there’s no such thing as a sad desk lunch ever again.

What’s around your space?
Our space is located in East Austin, right on the river and just east of downtown. This vibrant neighborhood is known for its colorful murals, amazing dining scene (restaurants, food trucks, you name it) and hole-in-the-wall bars. You’ll see a smattering of bodegas and tire shops, in contrast to some of the shinier high-rises and new restaurants in the area. You’ll also find some art studios tucked between the tire shops, and a lot of Austin’s creative business have found residences on the East Side.

We started Reset with one mission — enable people to do their best work.

Why offer Deskpass?
We are excited to offer Deskpass because we feel the founders have a similar mission and passion for creating great workspaces that connect people. One of the most difficult aspects of working remotely is the isolation people can feel without the consistency of an office and in-person human interaction. Creating and giving access to coworking spaces not only helps people do better work, but also helps connect people with one another. We at Reset especially connect with that, because our founders felt that isolation firsthand before they started Reset. We recognize that companies like Deskpass create a network of beautiful spaces for their members, so they always have somewhere to go to work and be around other people.

In case we forgot to mention…We’re a monthly membership that currently gives you access to these spaces and 200+ in Chicago, NYC, SF, LA, Austin, Denver, and Boston. We think Deskpass is a fantastic way to explore coworking, get you out of your home office or your local cafe and around a bunch of vibrant communities of lovely folks.

Try us out for 30 days to see what it’s all about!
