Download and Install Forbole X

Update: Forbole X wallet extension is now available on Chrome Web Store. You can download and install it directly on Brave and Chrome now. However, if you still prefer to install it with Github, follow this guide.

This guide will help you do the basic set up and preparation to get started on Forbole X, let’s go!

Google is currently reviewing Forbole’s privacy policy. Forbole X wallet extension can be downloaded from the Github repository now. Once all the reviews have been approved, the wallet extension can be installed directly from Chrome Web Store.

First, click here to visit Forbole X. First time user will be asked to install Chrome Extension to implement on chain transactions. Click Install or visit the Forbole X Github repository to download it directly.

First time user will be promoted to install the Chrome Extension

Download “chrome-extension-v1.0.2.crx” from Github Repository

After chrome extension is downloaded, click Window -> Extension or the icon on the right top corner to go to chrome extension setting page.

Visit “Manage Extension”

As the extension is downloaded from Github repository, we have to toggle on Developer mode in order to install it correctly.

Toggle on “Developer mode”

Drag chrome extension file to chrome extension dashboard.

You will be prompted to trust the developer

Toggle on Forbole X extension.

After the extension is installed and turned on, go back to Forbole X and refresh the page, then click the Get Started to create your wallet.
