This app helps you learn different languages. It has an AR feature that puts a virtual teacher in front of you and has graphics for each item you learn.

I believe the audience would be a younger crowd because they implemented the AR feature into their app. Also, it could be for anyone that wants to learn a different language and has a smartphone.

The app has the capability of AR. The main use of the app is to learn a language and to make it feel less like an app, they added the feature of having a teacher right in front of you teaching you the language. By allowing access to your camera and mic, you can interact with a teacher, trying to pronounce the words correctly.

It has haptic feedback when the objects move around the room. For example, when l’elefante (the elephant in Italian) moves closer to you, the phone vibrated. I didn’t see any feature that included GPS.

Making you move around the room, getting you off the couch is a good way to learn, as you can view augmented objects by walking around them. I believe it helped me remember certain objects more after i saw them as 3d objects. The virtual teacher is a good feature as it gives someone to look at instead of a screen when learning the language.

Making the AR more aware of your environment, having the objects move around your couch and not be in it would be a good improvement to Mondly. Changing the AR to MR would be a more fun way of experiencing the objects.
