Midwestern Ohio isn’t a place most people would choose as their vacation destination. If you take a closer look you will find that the Midwest has a certain charm. You may even find the perfect vacation destination to fit you.

Columbus, Ohio is the 14th most populated city in the United States and it continues to grow. People know the capital as the home of The Ohio State University. But the city of Columbus has more to offer than their sports legacy.

Columbus, Ohio offers many activities for their tourists. The biggest and most known is attending a football in the horseshoe stadium at the Ohio State University. While their visitors have the chance to cheer on the Buckeyes while getting a glimpse of what the OSU campus looks like.

The retail industry is a booming business in Columbus. Easton and Polaris Fashion Place are the two most known retail giants in Columbus. At Easton, visitors will find high-end shops such as Nordstrom and Lily Pulitzer. Polaris is an indoor/outdoor mall that is similar to Easton will a variety of stores.

If shopping is not your idea of a vacation Columbus offers a variety of activities for one to enjoy. The Columbus Zoo is known throughout the world as one of the top zoos in the United States. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium offers a day of family fun. Attached to the zoo is Zoombezi Bay, a waterpark.

Columbus, Ohio offers many daily activities for the family to enjoy. Columbus doesn’t fall short when it comes to evening fun. Locals and tourist find that Short North is a fun place filled with eating, drinking, shopping and entertainment. Throughout the week tourist can travel to Short North and enjoy an evening of R&B and soul music.

Columbus, Ohio is not a midwest secret. But few truly know the wonders that the city has to offer.
