Disneyland, California (The one in California)
There are times in everyone’s life that they wish to go back in time and become a little kid again. People wish to get away from the real world and enjoy time with their family and friends. Thankfully one man and a mouse created a place where you can do just that.
Disneyland Park is the original theme park that Walt Disney created. The park opened on July 17, 1955. Disneyland was created by Walt Disney as a place for families to go and enjoy the fun while being with your family. The original location for the park was across from his studios, however, his amusement park was too big for the location. Shortly afterward Disney purchased 160 acres of land outside of Anaheim, the future home of Disneyland.
Disneyland may be small in comparison to the other Disney parks around the world. However, this amusement park is not short of any magic.
Disneyland consists of two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. Disneyland is comparable to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. In Disneyland, you will familiar lands such as Main Street, U.S.A. and Adventureland. In addition, there are several unfamiliar lands such as New Orleans Square and Critter Country.
Disney California Adventure opened in 2001. Here you will find several different “lands” such as Cars Land and Grizzly Peak. California Adventure is located next to Disneyland but has more thrill attractions compared to its neighbor.
People travel from all over the world to visit Walt Disney’s creation, but they stay for the magic. Disneyland’s many attractions, amazing shows and 5-star restaurants give guests the ability to lose themselves in a vacation while allowing them to feel like a kid again.
Whether you are 25 years old or 60 years old there is something for everyone to enjoy while at Disneyland. So grab your mouse ears, wish upon a star and visit the whole gang at Disneyland.
