Award show season is full of red carpets and celebrities. Those who watch the shows dream of walking the same red carpet as the stars. If you like sunshine and glam travel to the west coast and experience the city of stars.

Los Angeles, California is the second most populated city in the United States. The nickname for this star studded city is the “City of Angels.” This nickname comes from the Spanish translation along with the climate and culture.

The City of Angels is largely known as the home of Hollywood. Hollywood is the home of the U.S. film industry. Visitors have the opportunity to take photos next to the infamous Hollywood sign.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is also housed in Los Angeles, California. The Walk of Fame runs about 1.3 miles on Hollywood Boulevard. Along the 1.3 miles you will find stars in the sidewalk dedicated to the stars of Hollywood. From Mickey Mouse to Marylin Monroe there are thousands of honored celebrities.

Another infamous location that can spotted along Hollywood Boulevard is Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The theater is known for having been home to many premieres including the 1977 Star Wars film. In front of the theater guests can find handprints, footprint and signarutes of celebrities dating back to the 20s. The theater was converted into an IMAX theater in 2013.
