The Battle of the Alamo was a historical battle that took place in San Antonio that took the lives of every Texan who fought. What remains of the Alamo still stands in San Antonio. The Alamo Mission is the top tourist attraction in San Antonio. Those who visit the Alamo are asked to not take pictures within the mission out of respect for those who lost their lives. Walking inside the mission you see artifacts of items found that day, along with names of everyone who lost their lives. Walking through the Alamo may seem eerie but the patriot pride you get while there is one you have to experience.

The River Walk is the second most visited attraction in San Antonio. The river runs 13 miles through the downtown area. Along the river is a walking/bike path that tourist can explore. During their stroll, there are delicious restaurants and shops for you to explore.
