Want a magical vacation? Look no further. Walt Disney World is the vacation destination of your dreams. Don’t worry you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy a vacation with a mouse; you just have to believe in the magic.

Walt Disney World is located in Orlando, Florida. Sitting on over 10,000 acres of land Disney World consist of four amusement parks (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios), two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon), a Downtown shopping district, over 25 hotels, a sports arena and so much more. The possibilities are endless when vacationing Disney.

The most notable park in Walt Disney World is the Magic Kingdom. When walking into the park you are instantly greeted with an “old fashion” main street and all the smells that go with it. Looking down the street your breath is taken away by Cinderella’s Castle that sits at the end of the street welcoming you to the land of magic. The Magic Kingdom is home to the three major mountains found on Disney property; Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Along with the major mountains to conquer, Magic Kingdom has attractions for every age of guests. From talking bears to a haunted mansion there is something for every to enjoy.

Epcot is known as the more “grown-up” of the four parks. This park is unique as there are two entrances to the park. The first one is at the front of the park, which allows guests to enter future world. Future World is home to numerous attractions including the infamous Spaceship Earth that takes you on an adventure through the history of communications. The second entrance is located at the World Showcase. This section of the park is a crowd favorite. While strolling through the showcase, guests can immerse themselves into the cultures around the world. Currently, there are eleven countries around the showcase, (America, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Norway, France, China, Japan, Morocco, Germany and Italy) each of the countries are located around a lagoon that is lit up at night by a moving firework and light show.

The Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are the two smaller parks located in Walt Disney World. The Animal Kingdom is home to many animals and even has an animal conservation located on the grounds. Recently the park has opened their new Pandora land attraction, which takes you through the location of the movie Avatar. Hollywood Studios is currently being updated to allow guests to live in their favorite movies. Toy Story land is scheduled to open in June of this year with a galaxy far far away to open the following year.

When booking your Disney vacation you must remember a few enchanted steps. First, stay on Disney property. The Disney resort ranges from value resorts to deluxe resorts. When you stay at a Disney resort you gain all the perks that go with it. This includes transportation to all the 4 parks, 2 water parks and downtown district. Second, get the Disney dining plan. By purchasing the dining plan you have the opportunity to eat at all your favorite restaurants with the perk of having them paid for before you go. There are different types of dining plans so be sure to read through each one so that you pick the best one for your vacation. Third, have fun and remember that Disney is a place to be a kid, have fun and embrace the magic.
