DESTINY DECODED SERIES

IN STORES NOW:http://td.je/destinybn

Over the next 3 weeks, we will be taking an in-depth look at Destiny as guided by Bishop T.D. Jakes’ extremely popular sermon series.

Part 14 of 18

Time Stamp: 9:52–11:49

If there is anything I want each of you to understand, it is that opportunities must be seized. You have a limited time to apprehend the opportunities God has placed before you and, if you really think about it, the best thing God could ever give you is an opportunity. When that window of possibility opens, you must jump through it, realizing it is for you!

However, the suddenness of the opportunities God grants you requires you to be prepared beforehand. It is best to weatherproof the home before the hurricane comes, because it’s too late to prepare once the weather shows up!

I liken preparedness to the opening day of a stage play. The audience gets to see the culmination of many days — even months — of work. What people witness for an average of 2 hours, actually required thousands of man-hours to create. From the building of the sets and setting the stage directions, all the way to the learning of lines, rehearsals, and composition of the orchestrations that will accompany the show, millions of details went into the belief that a group of people (the audience) would witness the grand production of a show that would last for only a fraction of the time it took to even produce the show.

Do you see where I am going?

Details you couldn’t even possibly fathom were hammered out and executed in order for individuals like us to come in and witness the ending and coming together of unimaginable amounts of work. The play’s entire production team invested incalculable amounts of time and energy before the audience arrived and the show started. They set the foundations of the show in place well before the house lights dimmed and the show began. In essence, everyone involved with the show prepared for one moment!

Such as it is for the stage play, it is the same for your destiny!

You lay the foundations and build the home before the moment the home is sold, because it’s too late to build the home once people move in.

God has an opportunity headed your way, and you must be prepared for it. Why? It’s simple…

IT HAPPENS WHERE IT HAPPENS!
