At the end of March, we visited the Global ICO@Seoul meetup, where our team introduced the DeStream project to the Korean audience and even found an experienced advisor.

Global ICO@Seoul is a series of professional meetups with presentations of the most interesting South Korean blockchain projects and international startups like DeStream. The main topic of its spring event was distributed token business models. Our co-founder Tachat Igityan took part in the discussion panel dedicated to this topic.

The meetup showed some excellent business examples in the field of Fintech, AI, marketing, real estate, game, and streaming industry. Our project aroused the audience’s interest, at any hand, we received many questions and a positive feedback.

Prize draws are in common practice for Korean events so we raffled off DeStream branded hoodies and two packs of our tokens worth $1,200 each. In one of our nearest posts, we will publish an interview with one of the winners. Why with him? We found him not only the person interesting to talk to but also a skilled specialist who agreed to be our advisor as he was impressed by DeStream opportunities. We will introduce him to you very soon.

South Korea is one of the key regions for our project and not only because it’s favorable for the crypto market but also it’s a country where cybersport and gaming are stable and mature industries. Korean top streamers earn a revenue comparable to stars and professional athletes income.
