DeStream, a financial ecosystem for streamers donations, was, in full accordance with its plans, successfully launched (available English, German and Spanish) at the Gamescom 2019 exhibition today, August 20, 2019. The company’s founders Anar Mekhtiev and Tachat Igityan have jointly pressed a symbolic Big Red Button to deploy what will most probably revolutionize the way streamers receive support and gratitude from their community and followers.

As the platform started functioning, DeStream Squad members were the first to test it in live mode. The amazing show started with Deagal Remyr in his well recognized Jack Sparrow outfit. And that’s when everything started spiralling! As Deagal opened his stream he was singing, playing guitar, joking… DeStream core team just couldn’t stand still, as Sofia and Max joined the stream as back vocalists.

You know, Gamescom is not some place where you can avoid fun. It comes right to you, sometimes wearing a colourful vestment of an ancient king. That’s what happened next to DeStream booth as some errant monarch arrived playing bagpipes. That incredible person appeared to be KawauTV, a popular streamer and gamer with over 86,000 followers!

Such an open personality with light, charming humor… Such a professional: Kawau joined Deagal in his stream showing a trick of simultaneously playing not one, but three pipes! We certainly hope that this is a beginning of a friendship that will last.

Natalie Moore, the strings of our team, picked from there at some moment rocking the floor Doors’ “When you’re strange”. No wonder that she was very warmly received by the audience, both online and on the stand, people were clapping, singing and — the best part — donating with the brand new DeStream platform. There were dozens of donations via the system during the opening day, we are currently putting together cross-cutting statistics and will be releasing these numbers in the coming days.

One more reason people around were all eyes and ears: Natalie’s outlook — she was cosplaying 2B, a popular character from NieR Automata. And boy she was worth seeing in person!

Everything looked very smooth and easy, however, today’s deployment is a result of more than two years of DeStream teamwork from a blueprint in mid-2017 though hours and hours of blockchain programming, sophisticated back-end development and multiple API integrations to create a system that will bring back the emotional component of streamers donations and radically reduce transaction costs several-fold to 0.77%.

“We are thrilled to finally uncover the product we’ve been building for the last two years. Today’s release fully confirms our expectations, as the audience was excited to see DeStream platform up and running. Clearly, we come to fill an empty niche and to deliver something that the community of content creators desired,” DeStream CEO and founder Anar Mekhtiev said.

“This is clearly just the first step in a line of many great achievements DeStream in set to produce in coming months and even weeks. We have lined up an impressive array of strategic partnerships, product updates and promotional activities. Thus, our celebration today is not the end of the company’s journey, on the contrary, we are out of a stealth mode and feel ready [to kick some ass] to disrupt the $1bn streaming industry,” DeStream CFO and founder Tachar Igityan added.

DeStream will be launching its platform for the unlimited use in coming September.
