DeStream to play big at Gamescom 2019, Cologne

In less than two weeks DeStream will participate in Gamescom fair. The international event will take place on August 20–24 in Cologne, Germany, with 370,000 visitors joining the exhibition in 2018, and even more, attendees expected this year.

For us, Gamescom is a big thing, and not only due to its extensive visitors metrics. DeStream intends to have its system officially launched during the show. Starting from late August, our platform will be available for a limited circle of professional users, and it will be open to the public a little less than a month later.

DeStream will be based in hall 10.1, on stand B-043. So feel free to come and meet us in person. As you may know, DeStream focuses on making donations easier, faster more convenient and generally better. We aim to bring back the emotional component which accompanied donations for many years but seems almost lost these days.

On the stand, we will have a long list of interactive engagements with an impressive team of streamers you all will definitely recognize. Currently, the list includes (for starters) Holy Jinni, Deagal Remyr, Natalie Moore, and there are more names highly praised on the street. We are open for more collaborations, so you are a content creator and want to join us on the stand, just drop a line, and we’ll figure this out!

DeStream installments will have multiple web-connected IoT elements remotely controlled by the online audience, e.g. confetti machines, different sound, and lightboxes. The stand will praise IoT in all its glory. The streamers will engage in live streams with their followers and Gamescom visitors. There will be plenty of opportunities to find out how DeStream mechanics works. This certainly will be cool. And “instagrammable”. We have no doubt about that.

We will have a series of media-oriented actions including tests run for the system, interactions with our streamers and other interesting engagements. Thus, media outlets are welcomed to connect Sofia Paskal at sp@destream.net for all arrangements.

More details can be found on our website. We support a Telegram group to discuss all recent developments of the project. More news and opinions from DeStream can be found on our Twitter and Facebook, so feel free to follow and comment.

And don’t forget to clap if you found our Medium publications useful!
