A Brave New Ad Campaign
Users who opt-in to ads on the Brave browser will have seen Dether ads throughout July.
Dether is now a Brave Advertiser
With crypto advertising becoming increasingly difficult on social media and content platforms (that often have little regard for their users’ privacy), crypto projects must think of innovative ways to share and advertise their projects. Because Dether allows users to cash-in and cash-out ETH and other ERC20 tokens locally in over 140 different countries, our goal is to reach a maximum number of these potential users and to meet them where they’re already using the internet. With its impressive speeds and opt-in advertising model, that place is Brave.
Brave is an open-source web browser that blocks ads and website trackers, while allowing users to earn BAT (Basic Attention Token) by viewing privacy-respecting ads. Thanks to this model, Brave was a natural choice in our search for a platform where we could advertise Dether.
Not only do users have the option of viewing ads on Brave, but they can store their BAT tokens in the Dether wallet, and even exchange them for ETH. Dether users can even sell BAT tokens for cash as long as they hold ETH.
Our experience using Brave as an advertising platform
The Brave team made the advertising experience accessible and time-efficient. After completing a short form and being contacted by the Brave team to confirm campaign details, we were given a dashboard login and an explanation on the campaign metrics we could follow.
We believe that Brave is crucial to building a better internet, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to share Dether though their advertising platform.
