We’re thrilled to announce the launch of 11 Detours in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Tours launching today include a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge led by iconic documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, as well as an illuminating walk through Chicago’s Grant Park, a historic point of city-wide contention, from award-winning public radio host Richard Steele. New tours will continue to be released over the next few months, for a total of 9 in each of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Today we’re also making group audio sync — one of our most popular features — free. That means only one person needs to pay when you Detour with friends. If you haven’t tried group audio sync, get some friends together and take a Detour this Labor Day weekend.

If you’re traveling to one of Detour’s 10 cities soon, download the app (iOS and Android)— it’s an incredible way to experience places.
