Meet Our Top Scholars of the DevCareer x Datacamp Donates Program

In January 2024, the DataCamp x DevCareer program launched with 80 participants in cohort 1. A program for the DevCareer community members to take courses in the DataCamp platform for free for the entire year of 2024.

The DataCamp Donates program is one created for qualified organizations to distribute to people looking for work, members of disadvantaged communities, students, and nonprofit research scientists. The program helps to provide thousands of free subscriptions to promote data literacy.

Africans from all walks of life came together to learn premium courses in Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, and many more.

They started learning, applying, and building their skills to be able to build new careers for themselves.

In March 2024, cohort 2 of the program began with 120 members onboarded to join Cohort 1 in learning and building new careers for themselves.

So far, some scholars have gathered Xp more than others, they have been at the top since the beginning of the program and we are excited to showcase some of our top scholars today.

These are students who have gained over 100,000 Xp so far since they began learning on the platform and we are excited to give them the platform to showcase them to the world.
