It all started as an open call for developers to build parser’s for an app that let’s you understand how you spend money, but now it is gradually taking over Stack Overflow’s Nigerian developer audience.

With over 100k messages being sent, and 70% of these messages are in DMs, we wonder whether we shouldn’t start a relationship channel.

Got a bug that won’t budge? #dev has got you. Looking for some quick design reviews, everyone be checking in #ui_ux, looking to exhibit some open sourcery, stop over at #open-source-ideas, or just looking to meet some awesome devs and designers, you’re always welcome in #welcome-meet-nd-greet.

Now something interesting happened in the channel yesterday, which lead to promising a package for the person who gets to invite the 500th member.

So this is how we will do it. You’ll go here and sign up to the Devcenter Square team. On joining just say Core sent you.

Core gats take bae for a movie with that ticket while we are eating those cupcakes, this Friday. You can have the shirt and whatever Octocat is giving, Core already has too many of those.

Don’t forget to check out the other discussions on Square.
