As the DevClub grew, we felt the need to have a website to showcase the increasing number of various awesome projects build by the team. We felt the need to increase our online presence and expand our reach while promoting DevClub as an organisation. It finally resulted in the DevClub Website, the face of the Club.

The Face of the Club

The website needed to be clean, professional and without clutter. Hence, it was decided to have a single page website, going with responsive design without saying, of course. Simple and user friendly navigation is the key feature of successful websites. Everything should be quick and easy to find. Making people wander around the site gets them really gets them wonder (well, about the developer of course), finally culminating into hitting the big redCross. To achieve the best User Experience our website comes with a collapsible side navigation bar docked at the top to navigate to various sections.

Multiple sections of the website makes it organised, descriptive and clutter free. The beginning section starts with providing brief description about the organisation, who we are, what do we live for and what are goals.

Following section lists our cool projects with each list item consisting of a brief description, a thumbnail, and link to the project.

Next comes in line the opportunity to introduce our team.

Coming to technicality, the website uses a number of JavaScript and CSS libraries besides the usual JQuery and Bootstrap. Typed.js provides the awesome look and typing animation to the club tag line. The fade in animations for the project and team images are a result of our old buddy — the JQuery. And the content the result of the blood and sweat of our awesome team.

We sincerely hope that our website reflects our objectives and values and helps us to grow further.

So, that’s all folks! If you have anything to say do drop us a mail at contact@devclub.in. We would love to hear from you.

Thanks Team DevClub
