The week’s acceleration started on Friday, December 1st 2017. The team was given the first task which was divided into two parts. The first part had 21 questions which enhanced the knowledge of the team members on the basics of JavaScript which would serve as a background for node.js. The team members read through the questions and discussed on them before providing answers to them. The second part of the task was to generate codes for an array of numbers which would add numbers in which the index of the second number is greater than the index of the first number and then divide it by a constant and then print the pair of numbers that would be divisible without a remainder. The team solved the task using arrays and the solution was submitted on the organization’s github page.

On Monday 4th of December 2017, the team was given the day’s tasks. The first task for the day was to write an algorithm which would receive a string of lowercase English letters with n length, delete any pair of adjacent letters and print out the output. The task was a bit tricky but we solved them and the group was awarded 5.0 point for the effort.

On Tuesday 5th of December 2017, the team was given a task to write articles on ES6 and node.js which were submitted on medium.

On Wednesday 6th of December 2017, the team was given data of about 500 people in a chaos order and was asked to make sense of the data. The team was able to create a website to display the details from the given data using JavaScript, JQuery, a bit of bootstrap and CSS. The functionalities used were custom made and ES6 styles were used to write the codes.

On Thursday 7th of December, 2017, the team wrote an article on functional programming in JavaScript. The team embarked on a research by reading materials online and offline, followed by a team discussion on the topic. This time we knew what we were in for. The task was tough and we had our acting faculty leader (Ife), took us through it

At this point which is the last day of the week, we were given an unsolvable task and up to this point that this is being written most of it has not been solved. Truly we would wholeheartedly say these tasks have been tough and we hope we don’t get more of it.
