Our Cool Collaborative Event? Here It Is!
Technology can be learned by everyone, not only for Computer Science students but also for those who desire to learn, no matter what majors they are related to. We can see some students have a passion for tech, but they do not know how to improve their skills. On the other side, we can also see many students lacking the motivation to learn technology because they could not find a community that would help them grow.
Thus, here we are. Developer Student Club Universitas Brawijaya will facilitate you plunge deeper into tech and develop your network through workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions. We are also here to help you identify local business problems and provide solutions for them. We believe the best way to advance your skill is by applying it!
As an introduction, we held an Info Session and Seminar with the theme “Kickstart Your Career in Machine Learning” on 19th September 2020, which I moderated as a Developer Student Club Lead Universitas Brawijaya. It was such an excellent opportunity to collaborate with DSC Ma Chung University and DSC STMIK PPKIA Pradnya Paramita Malang. On the Info Session, presented by Aminurachma Aisyah Nilatika, we explained what Developer Student Club is, our goals, the benefit of joining as a member, Google Solution Challenge, and of course, we also introduced core team members from each university.
Whereas, at the seminar, we had Feodora Felicia Flair Filadelphia Funay as a speaker. She explained the definition of machine learning, how it works, machine learning techniques, algorithms, skills required for data science, and how to pursue a career in machine learning. We saw that the participants were so excited. They had a lot of fantastic questions.
Last, we would like to thank the participants for your enthusiasm for joining our event. We hope it can give you new insight into your future career. We also thank all the leads and core team members who worked very hard. You guys are amazing! Let’s make another cool collaboration!
