Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Andrei Miroshnik. I am a Web front-end developer living in Cyprus.

What is your day like?

8:00 Wake up, make breakfast from buckwheat and village salad, take a shower, brush my teeth.

8:45 Go to work on foot, I work 1.5km away from home and I find it nice to start a day with a short walk anyway.

9:00 I at the office, 10 minutes for scrum stand up and then go back to usual tasks from bugtracker.

11:00 Morning coffee with a cookie!

13:00 Dinner time, I go home to have a meal. Mostly it’s chicken breast with some salad.

14:00 Back to the office, I start my daily code review.

18:00 Going home, evening meal.

19:30 Jump into the car and moving out to the beach.

21:30 Coming home, taking shower, 30 minutes on video games.

22:30 Turn on air conditioning in the bedroom. Take a shower, make evening tea.

00:00 Going to sleep.

What instruments or software help you in your life and work?

At work I use windows pc (i7 2600, 12 gb ram, 256gb ssd) with Google Chrome, git with bash, Visual Studio Code for typescript, GitKraken for exploring git history (a couple of months ago, I would prefer to use something like git log — oneline — decorate — graph — all), Skype, Gmail.

My home pc is Thinkpad X220 (8gb ram, 128gb ssd, i5 2520m) running Linux Mint.

After years with iOS/Android/Windows Phone I prefer to stick to a simple Philips non-smartphone.
