We’re proud to announce our latest update on the project, providing an overview of our projects thus far.

Application Suite Update
We have been preparing our application suite for deployment, with a separate website to ensure uptime for users. There are still a number of finishing touches and development that is required to ensure that the suite is ready for use on mainnet. The application suite once released will allow anyone(technical or non-technical) to utilise our user interface and mark products on the blockchain.

Whilst we have not given an official ETA, we are moving towards an official deployment and are on track with our timeline.

DeveryJS, Devery Protocol & ERC721

Devery has been integrated with ERC-721. We have been refining this integration through testing it via our app suite internally to ensure the integration has been secure and this has been pushed onto mainnet. Using this standard, we have been able to add a custody aspect to our protocol and developers can now attribute ownership at each point in time through marking a product or item.

With this integration, our protocol and toolset has the capability to mark products on the Ethereum network as well as track provenance of products through product ownership. Developers can immediately utilise our technology and integrate our framework as needed. This implementation has been tested and is available already within our development framework DeveryJS as well as the core contracts.

Devery Hackathon
In line with our goals, we will be announcing our hackathon next week. This will be the second official Devery hackathon and we are eager to have developers hack away and build products on our protocol!

Tunisia, WFP & The Ministry of Education
The team has now returned from Tunisia for its final handover stage. During the trip, Devery conducted multiple training and trial sessions, worked with the stakeholders to familiarise them with the software and come up with manuals for the application.

There is still some work to be completed in terms of translation (from English to French / Arabic) and other technical aspects of localisation which we are still in the process of completing.

We expect this to be completed in the next month and will be making an official update on this alongside the release of the video walkthrough of the Chain of Custody app in French once this handover process is complete.

Research Paper
Charles Liu, a researcher in our team has completed a research paper we will be releasing once confirmed. It is a paper on cryptographic protocols and algorithms. Whilst not directly related to Devery, this work was commissioned via Devery and forms a very in depth research paper on underlying cryptographic protocols.

Projects
We are still looking at those interested in leading projects for commencement of phase three and the decentralisation stage. These include working on toolsets, utilising the protocol or building verification applications to further the ecosystem for our next phase of decentralisation, phase three. We are in discussions with projects in anticipation of this phase, with some development and planning already occurring in anticipation for phase three.

We are looking for those interested to contact us at — contact@devery.io

Q&A
Why decentralisation?
As Devery is a decentralised product verification protocol, decentralisation ensures efforts are distributed and specialised as opposed to a ‘one-size’ fits all approach. Through specialised projects with specialised focuses, this provides an ecosystem of verifiers each utilising the technology.

Will anyone be able to use the application suite?
Yes, it will be available online and deployed via its website and provide multiple downloadable APKs for Android. Anyone will be able to access and use the application to create brands with ease.

Which projects are building the next stage?
We’re still in the process of confirming and planning with each team and projects will be announced in line with the commencement of the decentralisation stage.

Thanks again for supporting the project!
