As Devery moves forward with its plans, the team has several updates to share this month.

We are happy to announce the official dates for the Devery Hackathon. The Devery Hackathon will be the first in a series that will be aimed at promoting the creation of third party applications on our protocol. The hackathon will allow users to integrate our toolsets to create their own verification applications on the Ethereum blockchain using EVE. Creativity is key and innovative solutions and technology will be rewarded.

The Devery Hackathon Web Page

The Devery Hackathon will launch on the 1st of October, with 2 weeks to come up and submit a proof of concept utilising the DeveryJS Javascript Framework. The submissions are to be sent via Github and judged by both internal and external judges. The hackathon web page will be shared upon its release in the coming week.

We’re also proud to announce we’ll be releasing our toolset DeveryJS in the coming weeks. We have worked extensively on DeveryJS as it forms the basis of interaction on top of the Devery protocol contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. We have spent the last month stress-testing our framework with our own internal applications and are happy to say it’s completely functional and documented. Documentation for our framework will be made available on the date of release.

Internally we are using DeveryJS within our development team as it is powering our internal marking application, which is aimed for release in the coming months. As such we’re happy for the community to use our toolset to develop their own verification applications in industries they are interested in pursuing. Over time we feel that this will create an ecosystem of verification applications streamlined to specific industries.

Adding to this we will be releasing an overview document made available on our Github. This encompasses the ongoing products we are establishing and building on top of our protocol. This will be made available in the coming week.

The team is also preparing to return to Tunisia as we work towards refining our internal application for safe delivery of items. This is an ongoing process but we are moving towards implementation as we’ve completed our development version and are now iterating through the project.

We’d also like to thank the community for their ongoing support of our project and look forward to sharing our latest progress in future.
