We’ve added the Hacktoberfest label to each of our repos as well as some basic information on how to contribute to each project. I’m 200% sure there will be some information lacking, so please reach out in our Spectrum if you have questions (or open an issue if you have an idea for a todo!).

Our #1 priority right now is launching our API (Node + Express) and #2 is launching our Fit CLI (Node + Commander) — check them out and see if you’d like to get involved.

Free fitness plans?!

As a reminder, all active open source contributors (active = 1 commit per month) get any of our fit.Start plans for free. 🙂💪

What is Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest is an annual event each October put on by Digital Ocean to encourage open source development. It’s simple: make 5 PRs to any public repo hosted on Github, and the first 50,000 people to do this will get a sweet t-shirt (they always look awesome) and some stickers.

They also have a really helpful FAQ page if you want to learn more.
