7 Aspects of IT Certifications
Should I go for IT Certifications? Should I take an exam? Check these seven aspects to help you decide if it worth the effort
There I was, seated on a regular office chair, staring at the computer screen. A cheap keyboard and mouse over an outworn mousepad in the reach of my hands.
On the top right corner of the screen, a timer goes down. Right on the side of the clock, a sign shows 44 of 45 questions answered — one more to go.
After carefully review the question, I pick an answer and click submit.
“Are you sure?” — says the pop-up?
After a few seconds of hesitation, I click on “Yes”. The hourglass mouse icon takes an eternity to change. But finally, the message appears.”
Congratulations! You passed on you exam!
It was eight years ago when I took my first IT Certification, MCP Programming in C# — Exam 70–483.
If you ever took an IT Certification, you know that feeling. It is a mission accomplished and a relief. The hours of study, training, labs, and researching are now rewarded by the success message on the screen.
