The list of advantages of choosing DevOps as a career is based on my own experience and preferences.

Let’s dive in.

It’s varied and never boring

The daily job of DevOps engineers includes many tools, and each of them plays a different role in the setup. The setups and pipelines are usually very complex, and you will have to deal with all sorts of issues and challenges on a daily basis.

Forget about writing the same code all day, every day. As a DevOps engineer, you deal with a lot of tools and information, and you need to learn a lot.

You also need to communicate with different departments, know how to talk to people, ask questions, and explain. It never gets boring.
