Step up your Terminal skills by learning the basics of Tmux and how it's used in Linux

Learn the basics of Tmux how you start a new session, detached and attached again and how you create a new session with your own name.

What is Tmux and why should you learn Tmux?

Tmux is a CLI tool for Linux and Unix systems, it's very used and serves a powerful feature out of the box, its the feature to keep a terminal session running on a remote server, even if you disconnect the SSH connection to the remote server the Tmux session will keep open next time you remote.

Make sense? It's mean you can run a script on your server there can take a very long time, whit out random crash or stopping because you get disconnected from the remote server, cool right?

How to get started with Tmux?

You probably need to install Tmux on your system, and it can be done in Debian/Ubuntu system by writing apt install tmux

When it's installed you can just type tmux in your terminal and then you are up and running inside tmux session and the screen looks like the images below.
