Announces Developer Grants”Dev Dapp Starter Grants”, Hiroki Omae Appointed as Dev Protocol Advisor
Develop Dapp to spread the new creator ecosystem and receive a grant and NFT!
Dev Protocol, a DeFi protocol from Japan, will be holding “Dev Dapp Starter Grants”, a grant program aimed at aiding the development of blockchain applications (Dapps). At the same time, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Hiroki Omae, Regional Director of Unity Technologies Japan, has been invited as an advisor to help expand the Dev Protocol’s new creator ecosystem.
About the Grants Program：
Dev Dapp Starter Grants is a program that provides financial help to people who are working on Dapp development using Dev Protocol technology, a blockchain technology that allows creators to monetize their creations and gain sustainable support through “cheering”. In addition to the Dev Protocol development team, the Grants program will be judged by Hiroki Omae (Unity Technologies Japan) and Mikito Ebishima (Microsoft Japan).
The best Dapps will be awarded up to 500 DEV tokens (equivalent to about 1500 USD), which can be used to stake on the Dev Protocol, and will also receive a Certificate of Recognition. The more Dapps we have, the more the ecosystem will expand so we encourage you to submit your own Dapp ideas and work on creating something special! Grant participants will be able to receive a NFT Certificate of Participation.
Application Eligibility：
Engineers of all ages and from all countries are eligible to apply for the Grant program, and may apply alone or as part of a multi-member team. Applicants are as follows
- Interested in the Dev Protocol
- Programming experience
- Interested in the latest technology trends (especially blockchain technology)
- Those who want to challenge the social implementation of new technologies
Prerequisites
- Blockchain experience is not a requirement for this grant.

Profile of Hiroki Omae
Hiroki Omae joined Unity Technologies in 2010 after working as a developer in the game industry. He has been involved in the Unity business in Japan and the launch of the Japanese subsidiary, and has been instrumental in promoting Unity and solving various development-related problems.

■ Protocol Achievements

Since the release of the first Dapp “Stakes.social” in June 2020, the sustainable incentive scheme using blockchain has attracted a great deal of attention from overseas, and the ecosystem has continued to grow rapidly, with the total amount of staking growing to approximately 600 million yen and the total amount of creator compensation growing to the equivalent of approximately 200 million yen in the past year.
