We’re delighted to announce that “Culture Clubs”, a Web3 fan platform, has been launched as one of our innovative attempts to promote the support for creator communities.
Overview
“Culture Clubs” is a new fan platform that realizes long-term support for creators and communities by making great use of DEV Protocol. We started “Stakes.social” in June 2020, which has created a huge sensation. In “Culture Clubs”, we’ll expand target users at Stakes.social, and are scheduled to complete the correspondence to various payment methods such as FIAT, Bitcoin, etc.

- Realizing long-term support and relationship based on the supporting system of DEV staking.
What changes with Stakes.social?
Same in that it uses the Dev Protocol staking system, but Culture Club features sTokens up front as a membership NFT.
- Stakes social: Stake DEV tokens to creators -> get sTokens
- Culture Club: Buy sTokens -> support creators by staking
With both Dapps, DEV tokens are eventually staked to the creators, but Culture Club allows new users unfamiliar with crypto to participate in the communities.
Due to the casual and easy way to join for the support of DAO communities that creators began, Culture Clubs encourages the DAO economy to grow. Digital memberships (supporter NFTs) adopt dynamic sTokens, which can be used for updating users’ ranks depending on their amount and period of support, or changing pictures.

Using “Niwa”, a DAO tool for creators released by Dev Protocol last month, allows them to make their projects go DAO. We’re aiming at the environment where not only limited innovative users but all fans can join the creator’s community in “Culture Clubs” by corresponding to various payment methods to expand their entrance to Web3.
Since exclusive NFTs for supporters authenticate the staking of DEV tokens, they make it possible for all fans to easily participate in DEV ecosystem, which would result in the large growth of demand of DEV. DEV tokens will keep accelerating the growth and expansion of any kind of culture produced by creators.
