Dr. Eelco Fiole Joins Dev Protocol to Lead Governance
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Eelco Fiole is joining Dev Protocol. Eelco joins as the Governance Lead for Creators and their Social Token projects. With his input, the Creator community will benefit from enhanced governance for their projects, potentially attracting more and better financing, increased acceptance and wider adoption.
Dev Protocol provides the Creator Economy, and their community, with accessible solutions to capture their value by leveraging blockchain, especially Social tokens and Decentralized Finance. After conducting months of interviews with Creators it’s apparent that a major friction point, for the wide-spread adoption of blockchain and Social tokens, is the lack of legal clarity. We want Dev Protocol’s Creators to feel ensured that they’ll be able to capture their value in the safest way possible. Bringing on Dr. Fiole to spearhead this initiative brings Dev Protocol closer to become the Creator Economy’s launchpad.
About Dr. Eelco Fiole
Dr. Eelco Fiole, CFA has almost a decade of experience as COO and CFO in the alternative investment, wealth, and blockchain spaces and has been involved with blockchain governance since 2017. He was CFO of the Tezos Foundation and has worked with some of the most meaningful blockchain projects as a consultant and board director. Eelco Fiole is a managing partner of Alpha Governance Partners (AGP), an international fiduciary services partnership with 6 partners around the world, which he co-founded in 2015. AGP provides risk governance to boards in investment management and fintech.
Eelco is currently finishing his Masters in Blockchain Technologies at the University of Barcelona, holds a.o. a PhD in Economics of the University of Basel and is an adjunct professor in Finance Ethics at the Universities of Lausanne and Neuchatel. Based in Zurich and Singapore, Eelco is fluent in English, German and Dutch and has a base in Mandarin, enjoying private exposure to China.
