DEx.top Integrates With Coinbase Wallet & Ledger, Expands International Reach
Decentralized exchange DEx.top has recently announced integrations with Coinbase Wallet and the Ledger hardware wallet, expanding its availability for international users. Coinbase Wallet is backed by cryptocurrency exchange behemoth Coinbase, which currently boasts over 10 million users, while Ledger is widely recognized as one of the most secure cryptocurrency storage solutions and has over 1 million users across 165 countries.
With this partnership, users now have the option of accessing DEx.top directly through the DApp browser in the Coinbase Wallet app or binding their Ledger wallet to DEx.top for trading.
Formerly known as Toshi, Coinbase Wallet was developed by the Coinbase team itself, with the aim of making cryptocurrency management and decentralized web access as safe and simple as possible. This rebranding is a continuation of those objectives, as the Coinbase team consolidates its efforts to invest in products that will shape the future of the decentralized web. The newly upgraded Coinbase Wallet offers support for ETH, ERC-20 tokens and non-fungible collectibles based on the ERC-721 standard as well as a DApp browser that can access all third-party decentralized applications. Support for BTC, BCH and LTC is expected to be added soon.
Ledger has been no slouch either. It closed the largest Series B round ever raised for a cryptocurrency startup earlier this year, raising $75 million in a round led by Draper Esprit with well-known funds including Draper Dragon and Boost VC also participating. Ledger sold over 1 million wallets in 2017, making it the current largest hardware wallet manufacturer.
Both Coinbase Wallet and Ledger are promising represent strategic partnerships for DEx.top, which now benefits from greater access to Ledger users (who tend to have larger holdings) as well as Coinbase Wallet’s mobile audience, who can access the exchange without having to create an account thanks to the DApp browser.
DEx.top has previously partnered with two other leading mobile wallets, imToken and Trust Wallet, and is recommended through their DApp browsers. Moving forward, the exchange will pursue development of its product ecosystem through integrations with more DApp browsers and software and hardware wallets to provide greater convenience and utility for users trading on DEx.top.
