Players purchase NFTs which they can then trade as regular NFTs on secondary markets or use to participate in various Dragon Crypto Gaming game offerings. For example, to play The Legend of Aurum Draconis (an adventure RPG), players are required to mint a Hero NFT which is used as their in-game character. Through gameplay, players can earn native token rewards such as $DCAR.

For the initial release of The Legend of Aurum Draconis, $DCAR is required to purchase in-game crafting materials and can also be staked to earn additional rewards accruing from platform revenue. Players will earn DCAR by completing quests, winning battles and trading items in their in-game marketplace (where DCAR is used as currency). DCAR will be used for forging and crafting. Further utility will be added as more game features are deployed. For example, when the land ownership system is released, players will have to use DCAR to purchase land plots and construction materials & accessories. DCAR will also be used to breed tiny dragons!
