November 11th, 2018 — the highly anticipated results for the EOS Hackathon in San Francisco were announced. 475 participants attended representing over 26 different countries.
It was great seeing friends from other EOS events and making new friends in the EOS community.
NouGit, a platform providing incentivized repositories, won 1st place and was awarded $100,000. They will be sent to the final EOS Pitch in Cape Town, South Africa hosted on December 7th.
Pollinate, an incentivized pickup and delivery application, followed in 2nd place winning $25,000.
Six Degrees, an application designing for connecting professionals, won 3rd walking home with $10,000.
This EOS Hackathon was extremely competitive, and EOS dApp developers worked throughout the night to create the killer EOS dApp.
As this year approaches its close we should begin to think about what milestones we have the potential to reach next year, and what steps we should take now to be prepared for January — and ultimately the future expansion of EOS.
